FÉDÉRATION FRANÇAISE HANDISPORT
The history of the French Handisport Federation began in 1954 with the Association des Mutilés de France. It has changed its name over the years and has integrated all sportsmen with physical and deaf disabilities. FFH is now a member of the French Paralympic and Sport Committee, the National Olympic and Sport Committee and the International Paralympic Committee. Its mission is to offer a sports activity adapted to any person with physical or sensory disabilities, whether in leisure or at high level. It also provides training for volunteer and professional executives and creates actions for young people. It now has more than 60 000 practitioners, including 35 000 licensees.
