THE COUNTRYSIDE IN PARIS
A project comprising 92 pavilions of the same model, but with different colours, canopies and gardens, each worth its weight in gold.
Inaugurated in 1926, this project began in 1907 with the creation of a cooperative by Pastor Sully Lombard to enable workers to own their own homes. Located on a former gypsum quarry, 92 pavilions were built, and a small forest soon sprang up nearby. Although built on the same model, the pavilions differ from one another in colour, canopy, and garden. And that's exactly what the area is called! Today, these houses, nestled in the greenery, are worth their weight in gold.
