OLD JAWAD
Restaurant with modern touches offering traditional dishes with an excellent quality-price ratio.
The boss, Nazim Hussain, already has the New Jawad (7 th) and the New Balal (9 th), two reference tables in Paris. Here the framework changes completely from the other two restaurants. It is, in a very remote way, inspired by the Indies, because the modern touches provide it with a pleasant originality. It's good taste, with 70 ' s, unusual for this kind of establishment. The tables are well spaced and nappées. On the other hand, the dishes remain traditional. The tandoori are honest, the sheep with lotus roots is in the good gastronomic medium. Rose yogurt speaks well in the mouth. Quality is at the meeting, originality is only in the atmosphere. The aperitif and the digestive are often offered, which is always pleasant and a nice commercial gesture. The formulas have an excellent value for money in the afternoon or evening.
