DJAWA
Address in Paris offering Nassi box with rice, a Mi box of noodles, a more or less spicy specialty.
Stéphanie Dambron, a young Franco-Indonesian, noticed when she came to France to study that there was no Indonesian street food in Paris. She sets up the project and partners with a friend to open D'Jawa (Java in Indonesian language). As in a fast food restaurant, the kitchen is in front of the customer and is served in boxes. The Nassi box is based on rice, and the Mi box is based on noodles. Then you choose your recipe, more or less spicy depending on the case: chicken satay (peanut sauce), fish rica rica (tomato sauce lemon ginger), Asian beef meatball. Dishes can be served with vegetables and eggs and meat can be replaced with tofu.
