Japanese restaurant serving traditional Japanese cuisine with excellent value for money.
Hokkaido is an island in the north of Japan, not far from Russia. But it's also a good Japanese canteen, located on rue Chabanais. You can sit either on the first floor, with its open kitchen, or in the vaulted basement, where the atmosphere is more intimate. On the plates, you'll find all the great classics of Japanese cuisine: ramen (top-notch), gyoza, donburi... One of the best value-for-money places in the neighborhood, and you can tell by the large number of people who flock here every lunchtime.

The restaurant is very busy, so it is better to arrive early to dine in the evening. The service and the reception are fast: this restaurant is made to eat, not to bask there. Ideal before an evening/movies/show for example.
The cuisine is very good, particularly the fresh, grilled gyoza.
Very affordable prices (menus at € __ent_numeric).
Leur shoyu ramen est un délice!
