Restaurant with French gastronomy in the honour and a proposed wine list, a kitchen of bistronomy in the evening.

Located between the Place de la Madeleine and the Opera Garnier, this Art Deco-style restaurant, owned by Nadège Jaouen since 2015, has been in superb shape over the years. The Jalles is one of those beautiful establishments that have contributed to the reputation of French gastronomy. At midday, small appetites will be satisfied with a variety of original and delicious dishes, all accompanied by a wonderful selection from the wine list. In the evening, the establishment transforms into a bistro-style cuisine: Chick with black radish cream and chorizo chips, Crispy ravioli from Brittany in a light broth, etc. An unforgettable experience that has one flaw: its cost.

Beaucoup de déceptions pour un seul déjeuner… Arrivés dans un restaurant désert à midi pour un déjeuner d’affaires, nous voilà envoyés vers une mauvaise table (sous la sono) sans raison valable (un client veut l’autre table…), changement de table… pour une plus riquiqui alors que le restaurant est toujours désert. Un service qui oublie les plats et fait traîner. 6 verres de vins (à 12 euros…) sur la note alors que 3 consommés. On n’en revient toujours pas…

Je me suis régalé dans ce restaurant bistrot chic et auquel s’ajoute un service de qualité mené par la maîtresse des lieux de manière très professionnelle et avec beaucoup de gentillesse. C’est suffisamment rare pour le souligner.
