Establishment in Paris offering a menu of tricolored gastronomy, French terroir and desserts.
Lunching in Gallopin is travelling with gourmandise the history of French gastronomy. Since its beautiful "Belle Epoque" setting has been renovated, we are taking a smart pleasure of discovering or rediscovering this establishment of Place de la Bourse. With its attractive Victorian woodwork, its 1900's glass canopy and its ceramic fireplace, the house retains a timeless ambience that is worth its reputation. As for the menu, it also respects tradition with a menu that honours the gastronomic gastronomy and the French terroir: mimosa eggs and lettuce chiffonnade, Burgundy snails, frogs' legs, golden calf kisses, calf liver slices… The dessert menu lacks originality but the strawberry pie and the rum baba are safe values.

Réservation passée 1 mois avant pour un anniversaire à 15, on me dit let’s go sans me spécifier qu’on nous mettra sur la « terrasse » en janvier par -2 qui n’est autre que le fumoir, avec des courants d’airs, pas de musique et des lattes au sol qui m’ont tout simplement ruinés ma paire de talons neuves. Comment peut-on prétendre avoir un standing quand on ne respecte pas ses clients.
Énorme déception, car encore une fois, food et staff top mais c’est no go. On ne vient pas au Gallopin pour être mis au fumoir au froid et sans son…
Le personnel n’ayant aucune solution à nous proposer, pas de chauffages d’appoint, pas de plaid, pas de geste commercial. RIEN
Peu mieux faire …..
Sinon bonne ambiance,on a pas tout raté…..
