MASSARO
Massaro has been perpetuating the tradition and know-how of the master bootmakers for more than a century. It has received the Entreprise du patrimoine vivant award for its excellence.
History. This luxury shoe factory was founded in 1894 and found its nobility in 1957, when Gabrielle Chanel asked the bootmaker to make a two-tone sandal perched on a 6 cm stiletto heel. Since then, Massaro has been shaping the shoes for Chanel's haute couture and fine crafts fashion shows. Other greats such as Barbara Hutton, Elsa Schiaparelli, Léon Blum, the Duchess of Windsor, René Coty, Shirley Mac Laine, Elizabeth Taylor, Francesco Smalto, Romy Schneider... maintain a close relationship with the House.
At Massaro, anything is possible: infinite variations in shapes, colours and materials.
Because elegance can't keep anyone away, Massaro has developed a department dedicated to orthopaedics.
The products. Transparent plastic pumps, jewelry sandals, cork platforms, gaiters boots, beaded heels... Maison Massaro rivals creativity in ready-to-wear or custom-made products.
