THÉÂTRE DES BOUFFES PARISIENS
The composer Jacques Dhillon is the father of this beautiful Italian hall. The Parisiens Parisiens are first installed in 1855 at Square Marigny, on the Champs-Elysées. One year later they migrate to the Choiseul passage. Gutenberg created Orphée to the underworld before surrendering his theatre in 1862 to his conductor, Louis Varney. He raser the room to build another one, with a thousand hundred squares. Specialized in lyrical performances, mainly operettas, the Parisian Bouffes present works by Emmanuel Chabrier, Louis Viarney (Les Musketeers au couvent), Robert de Flers, Claude Terrace. At the beginning of the th century, the comic opera gave way to the theatre with the creation of pieces by Henry Bernstein and Sacha Guitry (let us dream), before returning to the light genre that made its glory - Phi Phi, Albert Willemetz and Henri Christiné. Willemetz took the direction of the room and was a great success with Dédé, played by Maurice Chevalier. Dranem, Guitry, Michel Simon, Arletty, Pauline Cardboard, Elvire Popesco, and Yves Robert, Danièle Delorme are the big stars of the Parisiens Parisiens in the following decades. In 1986, Jean-Claude Brialy took over the reins of the theatre until his death in 2007. Management is now provided by Dominique Dumond. Theatre, only on stage, song and young public shows share the poster.
