BASILICA OF OUR LADY OF VICTORIES
This basilica welcomes you for pilgrimage masses, visits to the sanctuary, adoration, spiritual maintenance...
This basilica, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, is the main building on the Place des Petits-Pères (the name given to the Augustins). Louis XIII's wish for a victory over the Protestants was granted, and he decided to build it in 1629. It took almost a hundred years to complete. In addition to its south-facing facade and two-order portal, the interior is richly decorated with monumental paintings by Carl Van Loo.
