Nearly 900 treasures (manuscripts, coins, maps and plans, prints, costumes...) from the collections of the kings of France in a remarkable museum in the heart of Paris, a reading room housed in the splendid oval gallery, a research library and a garden: such is the Richelieu site of what is commonly known as the BNF. A must-see is the Mazarin gallery, built by François Mansart and featuring ceilings painted by Romanelli.

Attention, la bibliothèque est indiquée comme ouvrant à 9h sur google, mais si vous venez pour le musée ou la salle ovale, ils n'ouvrent qu'à 10h...

Le musée de la BnF est situé sur le site historique Richelieu de la BnF. Très belle exposition d'objets antiques notamment, dans 4 grandes salles. À ne pas manquer, la salle de lecture ovale, ouverte gratuitement à tous.

Il est beau, relaxant et rempli de livres de toutes sortes. Les Parisiens la fréquentent pour étudier, se détendre et faire des recherches, voire des travaux scolaires. Même avec une telle bibliothèque, je serais toujours là à étudier ????
