GALERIE VIVIENNE
Gallery located between the Richelieu library and Place des Victoires, featuring a mosaic floor and original glass roof.
Located between the Richelieu Library and Place des Victoires, the Galerie Vivienne is one of the capital's most beautiful covered passageways. It was inaugurated in 1826, but built in 1823. Its mosaic floor is superb, and its beautiful glass roof brings a radiant light to this absolutely charming set of alleyways. The gallery, which was restored to its former glory in 2019, is home to fashion and decor boutiques, bookshops, a renowned wine cellar (Legrand Filles et fils) and several restaurants. An unmissable stroll through time.
