Founded in 1730, Stohrer - one of the oldest pastry shops in Paris - has preserved murals created by the painter Paul Baudry in 1864. It is, moreover, at the origin of the baba au rhum and, among its specialities, the mille-feuille, the éclairs or the puits d'amour are fa-bu-leux. These examples are obviously not exhaustive, and cannot by themselves sum up the immense range of delicacies on offer here. And then, everything is there: the setting, which one guesses is very old, and the service, absolutely irreproachable. To be tried urgently!

Inventeurs du baba au rhum pour le roi Louis XIV (véridique)... une tuerie mais il aurait dû en rester là car les autres produits n'ont rien de fou.
