A very discreet restaurant with a rustic decor offering more than 20 references of Auvergne wines.

The best of the Aveyron and Auvergne regions are jostling for position in the kitchens of this Embassy, which opened more than 50 years ago. You will have understood, there is no question of paying attention to one's figure when you come here: the home-made aligot is de rigueur - it is probably one of the best in Paris - accompanying beautiful pieces of beef. Of course, you can't go without the crème brûlée with black garlic from Billom for dessert. More than 20 references of Auvergne wines are also proposed to accompany the meal.

Accueil agréable. Cuisine goûteuse. Une mention toute particulière pour la côte de veau moelleuse et parfaitement cuisinée. L’aligot manquait un peu de fromage. Mais dans l’ensemble nous nous sommes tous régalés. À réessayer.

Nous avons été enchanté de notre diner à l’Ambassade d’Auvergne : service attentionné mais toujours discret, phasage des mets successifs parfait, sans attente excessive entre les plats, qualité des mets irréprochable – les noix de coquilles Saint-Jacques et le pavé de boeuf avec son alligot ont été particulièrement appréciés et il existe même un menu végétarien - ; quant à la mousse au chocolat elle est effectivement « fameuse » -. Les vins que nous avions choisis ont couronné le tout et pleinement répondu à notre attente (il est vrai que nous avions opté pour des premiers crus et qu’il faut donc accepter d’y mettre le prix mais le soin apporté à l’ensemble laisse augurer une belle qualité pour d’autres vins).

Bref, nous recommandons chaleureusement cet établissement.
