Trendy restaurant-bar where the decoration reminds of Tunisia, and the cuisine prepares great classics.

Mabrouk Paris is a Tunisian restaurant, but nothing like the traditional establishments you might imagine. Here, we are in a trendy restaurant-bar where the decoration reminds us of Tunisia, but in a refined and never kitsch way: white and blue tones, fez (traditional hat) on the head of the barman, some typical paintings... As for the cuisine, it remains in the same spirit: tradition revisited, with great classics: bricks, mechouia (peppers, onions, tomatoes, chilli), grilled merguez, pkaïla (beef chuck), couscous (with seven spices)... Also on the menu are bowls, with semolina or quinoa, and snacks with toasted Tunisian bread.

Un menu au mois de Ramadan qui n’est pas respecté .. (on a dû prendre un autre plat, sous prétexte que le plat principal (plat du jour) est terminé, alors que le restau n’était pas plein ..)

La pire expérience que j'ai vécu dans un resto pour la rupture du jeûne à Paris. Chaque plat met 30 min à arriver, le serveur nous annonce que le plat principal au menu du jour n'est plus disponible 2h après que nous nous sommes installés sachant qu' on était la 2eme table arrivé. Les serveurs servent leurs amis en premier et pas en fonction de l'ordre d'arrivée. Tout ça pour une cuisine très moyenne. Le choix dans le menu est très très limité. Bref je ne suis plus en bon termes avec les potes qui m'ont proposé d y aller.
