SOCIAL SQUARE
Restaurant with a bistro spirit offering a gourmet cuisine.
Social Square does not date yesterday except that it changed its name. The place is more than 40 years old and the one who picked it up, Emmanuel Comte - Manu for the intimate and owner of the Square just two steps away - has preserved the bistro spirit while entrusting the garden to Christophe Bro to make it more visible: Brick wall, vintage paper, chairs and benches, bar in beautiful, very creative blonde wood. We are here from 8 a. m. to 2 p. m. the next night for a breakfast, lunch, happy hour or dinner with the bonus of concerts and DJ sets. The menu of the restaurant, rather short, makes the share of a just gourmet cuisine. We attack a gravelax of can, crystallized apple and its juice to saté. There is a beef tartar with olive and Parmesan oil knife or semi-baked bluefin tuna, mint dressing and spaghetti. In dessert you will be reluque the Ben & Jerry's ice creams, but it's winter, then you get back to a brioche perdue of caramel butter and, despite everything, its ice ball. At the time of the aperitif the boys share a charcuterie board in Salamanca. For a night, girls who are watching a Thai beef salad enjoy soy, coriander, mint and pepper shoots. Social Square is a place to eat without moderation.
