Restaurant offering hot and cold tapas, traditional paella, fish and Spanish cheeses.
Don't rely on that French name! This institution is full partly thanks to its atmosphere of "tapas y vinos" in the colours of Spain. For nearly a quarter of a century, the place is in the image of similar restaurants located on the other side of the Pyrenees: living, noisy, open very early and until late at night. On the background of Andalusian music, you will taste the typical hot and cold tapas and a traditional paella served on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only. Another good reason to go there: Freshly fried squid, pimientos del piquillo, cod croquettes, bravas patatas, barbecued chipirones, you'll be given the best of Spain on a platter. Finally, Spanish cheeses or a flan with turron, a Catalan cream or more original, the Requeson ice-cream with honey and almonds. All accompanied by a glass of rioja or jerez. Let's say a word, all the same, on the wine list: generous, complete, full of beautiful and good things! There's something for everyone, but think about coming early on the weekend, because many love the Iberian cuisine.
