GALERIE CHRISTIAN BERST
The gallery Christian Berst is entirely dedicated to the art of raw art, a term invented by the painter Jean Dubuffet, who thus referred to works performed by non-professional art. Located in the Marais, and spread over 200 m 2, it offers some seven exhibitions a year. She presented artists like José Manuel Egea and his performances in which he plays his "transformation", Michel Nedjar and his light dolls, and Alexandre Lobanov and his works inspired by Russian popular imagery. Falsely naive illustrations, pop-up installations and collages will delight those who love raw art.
