Renovated in the early 2020s, this museum is a must-see. Situated in the heart of the Marais district, this museum dedicated to the history of Paris boasts a wealth of collections: drawings, sculptures, paintings, objects from prehistory to the present day... Highlights include the Neolithic pirogues of Bercy, the Saint-Eloi scroll, signs from the 16th to 20th centuries, photographs by Nadar, Doisneau and Cartier-Bresson... The current temporary exhibition explores the city's relationship with the Seine: fascinating!

Nous avons visité l'exposition sur Philippe Starck, nous sommes sortis avec l'impression d'avoir été trompés. Très décevante, je crois même que c'est la pire exposition que j'ai visité de toute ma vie. Un tour de même pas dix minutes avec basiquement des panneaux à lire. A EVITER

Tout juste réouvert, en plus des Collections permanentes, superbe exposition de photos de Cartier Bresson sur Paris. Beaucoup de monde mais on comprend pourquoi! (11€) Réservation et Pass Sanitaire obligatoires.
