THE VENDÔME PASSAGE
A prestigious Parisian passageway, once used to link Boulevard du Temple to the Filles-du-Sauveur convent.
Drilled in 1827, this passageway was used to link the Boulevard du Temple to the Filles-du-Sauveur convent. Although it gradually fell into disrepair during the second half of the 20th century, the site was subsequently restored to its former splendour through a series of effective renovations. Today, this prestigious passageway is a pleasant place to stroll, much frequented and appreciated by local residents. A little further away from the other covered galleries, located more towards the Grands Boulevards, it is nevertheless well worth a visit.
