Welcome to the oldest food market in Paris! The atmosphere here is more family-friendly, bobo style. All the main food trades are represented, with the presence of a few organic producers and oyster farmers. Few fruits and vegetables, however, and prices are at the higher end of the range. People come to Les Enfants-Rouges as much to shop as to eat. The choice is varied, with stands offering Moroccan, Italian, Asian and Lebanese specialties... Some of which you can sample on the spot.

Ce marché aux allures bobos offre à la fois des stands de maraîchers mais aussi de traiteurs du monde. Le café italien est exquis chez l'italien et les stands proposent aussi à manger le midi et le soir mais pas trop tard. Le restaurateur Libanais pousse à la conso mais c'est sympa de se laisser tenter par des petits gâteaux et du thé à la menthe. On peut s'asseoir et se poser pour profiter de cet espace pas si grand et pourtant à l'offre conséquente dans un lieu vraisemblablement historique;

Un marché bien caché et découvert au cours d'une promenade dans Paris. Il est toujours agréable de trouver des endroits comme cela, avec beaucoup de choix pour manger de tous les coins du monde. Je le recommande pour ceux et celles qui veulent bien manger. très sympa au printemps avec un beau soleil pour aller boire un verre et goûter des saveurs exotiques

Un endroit plutôt original dans Paris.
A voir et à faire (de préférence en été mais avec risque d'attente), surtout pour sa partie restauration avec une multitude de choix au niveau gastronomique (Italien, Créole, Japonnais traditionnel, Libanais...)
