CARUSO
Italian restaurant in Paris serving a menu of transalpine classics, pizzas, grilled and fried seafood.
Italian restaurants that can reproduce the atmosphere of trattoria as there, which make you feel at home, are rare in Paris. At Caruso, that's the case. Woodwork and white tablecloths for elegance, antipasti and homemade dolce showcase, service with lively singing accent for a friendly atmosphere. On the menu, all transalpine classics, prepared in a simple and appropriate way. Bruschetta, crostine, Bressola and melanzane alla parmigiana make the antipasti menu sing, the pizzas have a crunchy dough, the pastas are stuffed (ravioli di magro al gorgonzola, tortelloni alla campagnola), served in lasagnes (Pasticcio di lasagna), but also all'arrabbiata, with swordfish, squid ink or zucchini cream. The risottos cooked on order are worth waiting for, and the saltimbocca alla Romana and other scaloppine are faithful to the oldest Italian culinary traditions. As for the seafood lovers, they can enjoy them fritti (fried) or griglia (grilled). The classic desserts are of good quality.
