Café-restaurant in Paris offering a neo-gastronomic brasserie menu and a list of dishes.
It was in March 2013 that the brothers Gilbert and Thierry Costes opened this Café Français, after a complete renovation of almost two years and the reunification of commercial spaces of the two addresses that previously occupied the place. Contemporary decoration created by India Madavi and Studio M/M, strategic location on line 1 of the Parisian metro, neat casting in room, trendy and urban cosy atmosphere: you will find here the ingredients that have made the success of the address stamped with Costes. However, you should have a closer look; this new address contains some innovations. The first one is the list of dishes which contrasts with the "new look" habits of the group. No tigre qui pleure and other borderline fusion suggestions which, admittedly, have greatly run their course. Café Français clearly positions on a neo-gastronomic brasserie menu. The other innovation is the presentation of the dishes, lightened and contemporary, clearly inspired by the bistronomic trends of the moment, and a constant emphasis on the suppliers of this restaurant. No surprise when you know that Jean-François Piège (Thoumieux) and Thierry Burlot thought up and set this new offer. At the piano, Pascal Lognon-Duval, a former member of Grand Véfour.
