AU VIEUX PARIS
Restaurant in Paris offering a menu of traditional cuisine, vegetables, and meats
This former canons' house has been the oldest restaurant in Paris since 1823. In a tourist district, this address has a lot going for it. Welcomed by a statue of the Curé d'Ars, you'll be seated on the first floor in one of the cathedrals that may have belonged to nearby Notre-Dame. The menu features traditional French cuisine, including the famous homemade terrine with porcini mushrooms, foie gras and pistachios, free-range chicken and vanilla French toast, while listening to opera or baroque music.
