A traditional, regional and seasonal cuisine with meat dishes and seasonal vegetables in Paris.

In the heart of île Saint-Louis, a stone's throw from Notre-Dame, find the atmosphere of yesteryear in a preserved historic setting dated 1620 (old beams, copper objects, etc.). Le Tastevin assume its classicism and offers primarily a traditional cuisine, sometimes regional and always seasonal. The meat from French breeding is aged by our Master Butcher, the lamb with the "raised on mother's milk" label from Aveyron, Lozère or the Pyrenees, the fish directly from Brittany, the duck and its I.G.P liver of Vendée or Southwest, the seasonal vegetables. The platter of raw-milk cheeses, refined by Ferme de Saint Aubin, the homemade desserts or ice-creams and sorbets of Maison Berthillon. Fine wine list.

Bread was stale, pomme frittes was saggy, portions were small, very expensive for low value, if any. Its a total waste of valuable time in Paris!

The chicken wrap was dry as cardboard, the sea bass was served cool. My son's duck was very nice. The reservation we made via the net didn't take, plus calls we made to confirm the reservation went unanswered.

Leo and Philippe are just the beginning of the amazing experience you will have at this little French gem located on Ile Saint’Louis in Paris. The food…world class. The drink…world class. And the service is everything one could hope for traveling abroad. Whether you speak English or French, they will have you covered. I would suggest the 46 euro 4 course menu that is far more food and value than any foodie could ask for. Starting with French onion soup, then a segue to duck confit with a light pause for all local french cheese only to be finished with a classic crème brûlée.

Don’t let the local neighborhood charm fool you, this dinner spot deserves more stars than Google allows… and more diamonds than Michelin will give. This is that place the locals know and the tourists miss. We just got lucky. Thank you Leo and Philippe for a peak experience!

Nous avons choisi ce restaurant en guise de repas de Noël en amoureux (même si nous n'étions pas encore le 25 décembre). C'était très bon, le décor avec le sapin et les bougies est beau et les serveurs sont sympas :)
Très bonne adresse ????
