Address with terrace in Paris preparing a black pudding, a farm pig, a fish and a seasonal menu.

With this easy-to-remember name, Jaja keeps its promises, especially that of drinking nice bottles. What we like most here is the terrace and the room at the back of the courtyard, far from the bustle of the Marais. Inside, light wood tables and chairs, exposed stones and a rough parquet floor. On the plate, accomplished dishes. Clearly, the chef has a lot on his plate! Bold, he does not hesitate to marry black pudding with a perfect egg, a farmhouse pig's rib with cocoa, a fish with pumpkin and grapefruit... The menu changes according to the seasons. The wine list includes a majority of nectars from organic or biodynamic agriculture.

The food is honestly pretty overrated. I had the Fish of the Day, and although it was fresh, it wasn't really special. I'm pretty sure the clams that came with it are supposed to be for decoration because there's barely any meat in them, and they were covered in sand. The sourdough bread is stale, and even though the presentation is nice, the food is just average. But the service was better than expected. We had a really nice waitress and the music and atmosphere was really nice.
