HÔTEL DE NEUVE ^{* * *}

The staff is so friendly, helpful and kind!

We had a very nice stay at the hotel and thanks a lot to the staff (especially all reception staff) for being very helpful, responsive, and hospitable. The hotel is in an excellent location (at least from my point of view), metro St Paul line 1 is close and easy to access and very well-connected to the main things to do in Paris, and if you are for the first time in Paris, the street is easily identifiable through the red-coloured gate of the cathedral. Another added bonus is the direct metro connection to Porte Maillot from where we took the bus to Beauvais airport (this is very convenient and makes for a hassle free transfer - that's why we chose the hotel, given our early flight back). There are plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets etc on the street and the whole area. We walked a lot to everything, to rue de Rosiers, St Germain de Pres, Rambuteau and Pompidou Centre, to Notre Dame, it was great to see Paris and have easy walking access to everything we wanted to see. Cannot comment on the breakfast as did not choose to have breakfast at the hotel. The room we had was standard, on the small-ish side but this was expected, and most of the budget hotels' rooms are of such similar size; the bathroom was a good size, was quite comfortable to use and that was great. We only saw this room available, but perhaps there are superior rooms available too, I am not sure. Even if the room was quite small-ish, it was totally ok for us, totally livable - well-sized bed, it has a wardrobe, a small desk, a chair and it was just fine. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. We walked a lot in Paris, left in the morning and came back in the evening and the hotel choice was perfect! Thank you so much to the staff for accommodating us and helping us, and keeping our luggage in the time interval from arrival (early flight) to check-in time - much appreciated. Reception is 24/24 and this is really great. We plan to visit again and will be happy to stay again here.

Lovely very friendly staff.
Room size was ok for the 2 of us.
Very comfortable beds and slept well.
Metro near by.
Free drinks and food is a nice added touch.
Bathroom could do with a bit of attention- door to shower didn't close properly and door into bathroom stuck a little- this didn't impact our stay.
