SACHA FINKELSZTAJN – LA BOUTIQUE JAUNE
In the heart of the famous rue des Rosiers, cap on Central and Eastern Europe thanks to this Yellow Boutique founded in 1946, symbol of a return to life after Nazi hell. You can enjoy on-site or take traditional Yiddish specialities such as vatrouchka (sweet white cheese cake) with vanilla and grapes, unless you prefer cherries, lemon or orange orange. Viennese strudel and poppy cake are also worth a visit. The boutique also offers savoury specialities such as goulasch, caviar from sweet peppers, Bulgarian böreks - sheep cheese, peppers, spinach or small vegetables - not forgetting hot sandwiches such as the Yiddish sandwich.

This is basically a butchery place + bakery + pastry. Apparently run by a family and I find it amazing.
Prices are a bit upmarket, but well worth it imo.
J'aime m'y rendre pour le coté authentique de cette boutique.
