THE GEORGES POMPIDOU CENTER
The Centre Pompidou designs for the young public and families programming "that fosters privileged contact with all artistic disciplines", according to the team of young public programming, out of 3 places:
The Children's Gallery, a temporary and multidisciplinary exhibition space where children, from age 6 and in family, develop, through observation and experimentation, their gaze on the world around them. During programming periods, the Children's Gallery is open every day except Tuesday from 11 a. m. to 19 p. m. To know the programming, go to www.centrepompidou.fr, heading "agenda", then "exhibitions"
The children's workshop is, like the artist's workshop, a place of reflection and creation. Workshops are available for 2-5 years and 6-10 years, guided by visual animators, to enter and dive into works. For the small ones, the courses are animated by storytellers, musicians or artists around the works of the Museum. Finally, on the first Sunday of the month, on the occasion of «Impromptu», the Workshop opens its doors free of charge for family sharing around events imagined by artists. To know the programming of the Children's Workshop, visit www.centrepompidou.fr, heading "agenda", then "visits and workshops"
Studio 13/16, the first area dedicated to adolescents in a large cultural institution, offers a programming of meetings with creators of all kinds (musicians, directors, street artists, designers, designers, designers, etc.), events and workshops around artistic problems and topical subjects close to the world of 13-16 years. During programming periods, Studio 13/16 is open from a. m. to p. m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and every day except Tuesday during the school holidays in Paris. To find out about the programming, visit www.centrepompidou.fr, "agenda", then "young public".
