Located in the heart of Paris and equipped, from its creation in 1979, with works by major artists (frescoes of Alechinsky, Hergé, Felix Roulin, Folon stage curtain, fountain of Pol Bury), this Belgian Cultural Center has outstanding equipment comprising show rooms (170 places) of the cinema (99 seats) and exhibition (200 square meters).
The Wallonia-Brussels Center offers a multi-disciplinary and varied programming of more than 150 events a year. In the program, literary meetings and brunch, screenings of premiere movies, exhibitions of comics, contemporary art, heritage funds, but also dance, theater, jazz, classical music and young audiences, among others. The Center participates in major Parisian events such as Nuit Blanche, the Night of Museums, the Documentary Film Month, Paris in all letters, Festival Faits de Winter…
He is closely linked to the Wallonia-Brussels bookstore and defends cultural diversity (member of FICEP) and the values of La Francophonie.
BD event in 2018: EXPO PEYO, from May 25 to October 28, 2018, on the occasion of the 60 years of the Schtroumpfs, which are blue, but also Belgian.
