FONTAINE STRAVINSKY
The fountain features sculptures by Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely, two major figures in the Nouveau Réalisme movement.
The fountain is located in the vicinity of the Centre Pompidou, and is beautifully designed. Created in 1983, the fountain features sculptures by Niki de Saint-Phalle and Jean Tinguely, two major figures in the Nouveau Réalisme movement. The fountain is like an open-air museum. Animated by the water that flows through them, the sixteen works created together all playfully evoke the music of Igor Stravinsky. Recently completely renovated, the fountain has once again become the magical, poetic place it has been since its inauguration.

Ne manqué le pochoir géant face à la fontaine "chut".
L'animation importante de cette place bordée de café sur un côté et d'une façade de centre Pompidou augmente encore l'attrait de ce lieu.
