The version of the bridge that can be observed today dates back to 1860. A first version was built here in 1833 under the reign of King Louis-Philippe, hence his name. Following the increase in traffic, construction was adapted and strengthened. It is used to connect Saint-Louis Island to Saint-Gervais, which is located behind the City Hall. Among the beautiful details are beautiful metal rosaces surrounded by stone crowns, they are located on the top of its four pillars.

Pont saint Louis
Le pont est assez beau et on peut s"y promener en prenant son temps et en appréciant les quartiers alentours dont celui de saint gervais. Pas le plus beau pont de Paris mais il est juste là pour relier 2 quartiers!
