Living space, gallery, museum, and innovation centre built in 1706, offering three exhibition seasons a year in Paris.

The mission of this leading centre for European photography is to disseminate and preserve contemporary photography. The permanent collection covers the period from the late 1950s to the present day, and includes more than 15,000 works from international photographic production (Robert Frank, Raymond Depardon, Irving Penn, Henri Cartier-Bresson, etc.). It is complemented by numerous temporary exhibitions. The centre also houses an auditorium, a library and a video library.

Les expositions sont très bonnes mais, attention a la femme responsable de la librairie. Si vous oubliez d' achèter le catalogue, elle ne vous laissera pas entrer sauf si vous rentrez à nouveau vie la billeterie. De plus, cette femme vous humille comme si elle était commendante de l' armée avant la guerre.
S' il vous plaît! Un peu de consideration avec le client qui seulement veut achèter le catalogue!

Un espace d'exposition qui permet de découvrir de nombreux artistes. En général, il y a plusieurs expositions sur les 3-4 étages. Malheureusement, le sous-sol est souvent délaissé.
Très bien situé (à quelques pas de la station de métro Saint-Paul), la MEP ferme tard le soir. On peut s'y rendre très facilement après le travail, d'autant plus qu'il y a des casiers pour y laisser ses affaires le temps de la visite. L'occasion parfaite pour se changer les idées !
