THE TOWN HALL SQUARE
The former place of Strike, located on the banks of the Seine, allowed its construction to unload goods coming by boat. In 1357, the municipality took its quarters in a house that will be replaced by a palace in the sixteenth century. Note that the current city hall is the exact reply. Major events took place here, particularly during the French Revolution and the Revolution of 1830. Today, it is the scene of various parties and gatherings. In winter, a skating rink attracts the world. In the summer, a music festival, which brings together popular groups and discoveries, stands on the screw. At the Football World Cup, hundreds of fans are held in front of the city hall with a giant screen! Learn more about the city hall website.
