Creperie with terrace in Paris preparing pancakes and crepes with Breton recipes.
In a rustic setting with the air of a yesteryear bistro, you will taste here galettes and crepe based in breton recipes. At Crêperie Cluny, we tested the menu at around ten euros, which offers a cake and a sweet crepe and it's really a good deal. We recommend the hot goat cheese cake and the homemade jam crepe. And if the weather is fine, you can also enjoy the small terrace overlooking the very lively rue de La Harpe, a stone's throw from the famous rue de la Huchette. As for the service, the team is efficient and attentive, and always smiles. A good creperie indeed, nothing more to add.

Onion soup's cheese was a little too chewy for me but overall good dinner!
The creperie is not so focused on crepes as you might think from the name above the door. But I came seduced by that name; I took the Normandie suggestive of apples, calvados, perfect crepe. What appeared was a prefabricated, apple mousse smeared hodgepotch of a crepe. I expect to be corrected but cannot believe this crepe was of new birth, it did not appear out of a hot crepe pan but probably from some automated crepe production line, stored until ready for reheat. Creperie de Cluny is located amongst many other eateries, footfall is high, tourists aplenty. Who wouldn't do more than the bare minimum and still make healthy profits. I give them credit for that.
To make judgements of other places give creperie de Cluny a try, set it as a benchmark.
