Paris address serving Ethiopian tartar, vegetarian specialties, meats and Ethiopian coffee
This is the name of the Emperor Ase Thedros, re-unifier of Ethiopia in the 19th century, chosen by Zoufan, the owner of the address. We set up in a very pleasant setting with green, yellow, red and reggae tones. We discover a cuisine that is less known in France and which transports us very quickly to new flavours. Ketfo, an Ethiopian tartare with soft spices of Ethiopia with a mixture of dry cheese and chopped spinach, is exceptional. Other speciality for vegetarians, the chouro, these are broken peas blended with Ethiopian spices, accompanied by salad with soft green peppers and tomatoes, this dish hold well our palate by its exoticism. The quenta ferfer also is not bad at all, dried meat with Ethiopian spices, prepared with tomato sauce and cut pancakes. Ethiopia has no special dessert, thus the menu becomes very French… At the end of the meal, you can attend the famous Ethiopian coffee ceremony…

Great Ethiopian restaurant in Paris.
The food is great and the waiters/owner is very friendly and kind. I highly suggest the “menu” formula, especially if you want to try different dishes.
