TASHI DELEK
Restaurant offering Tibetan cuisine in a large room all in length.
Tashi Delek, who is the wish that we exchange the morning of Losar - Tibetan new Year - and which means «happiness and joy», has long been a reference figure when one speaks of Tibetan cuisine, which is now fairly well represented in Paris. This restaurant was founded years ago by three Tibetan students, who are pioneers in this area. In a large hall in the long distance of the Dalai Lama and a magnificent tentra, one eats one of their specialities which is the Tibetan fondue, based on meat, fish, vegetables, mushrooms and spices, a dish that has become rare in Tibet because expensive and rather delicate to prepare.

Excellent food and service as always. Be warned Saturday lunch is busy and noisy but the food is well worth it. The traditional tea will not be to everyone's taste as it is very full of butter but it will appeal to the adventurous. I give the Druchur Lhamo my recommend. The vegetables were wonderfully fresh and not over cooked. Delicious! My second visit and I will come again. (We brought friends this time who also loved it.) Thanks again, Tess

I went there because my friend wanted to try tibetan cuisine. I knew of most of the dishes in the menu already and liked the quality of the food. For someone who is South Asian, the food seemed expensive but was quite cheap and definitely worth the money by Parisian standards. The vegetarian momos had a spinach and cheese filling and we're quite nice. That said, I wish they had more variety of fillings. The ambience was nice and cozy and the service great. We absolutely adored the vegetarian dish with the deep fried pockets of which the name I can't recollect. The food did remind me of home :) overall a great expérience and à must try if you want to discover himalayan cooking.
Le service est parfait et la cuisine incroyable. J’y retourne régulièrement
Nous reviendrons, pour sûr !
