Restaurant serving traditional and homemade cuisine, vegetarian dishes, meats and desserts.
Mythical in Paris for the number of celebrities who have dined there, Le Coupe-Chou is a restaurant that seems straight out of a tale. Fireplace, stones and beams take part in the magical atmosphere of the place, just like the old wood stove, the chairs, the fainting couches and the green or red velvet drapes. In this antiquated atmosphere, guests can enjoy a traditional cuisine, homemade food, like the roasted leg of lamb, the bourguignon with beef cheek, the half-cooked tuna breaded with sesame or the beautiful ratatouille for vegetarians. For dessert, you hesitate between the figs poached in red wine and honey, the solognote pie or the tiramisu with speculoos.

Foi uma experiência de Paris que aqueceu minha noite.
The atmosphere and ambiance was a lovely, however we had a few issues:
- The wrong main course dish was given to one member of the group (pork instead of cod), the service staff seemed almost angry when we explained this wasn't the dish ordered. It meant 1 person in the group had to wait 10-15 minutes for a new dish to be made, so ate alone.
- The beef mains were cold, we asked for them to be re-heated and just the plate was heated and the food remained cold
Given the complete wrong dish was served, we would have expected an apology from service staff at the very least, or more appropriately something complimentary as an apology.
As we had treated ourselves to dinner at Le Coupe-Chou, we were sadly very disappointed with our experience.
