HÔTEL LE PETIT PARIS * * * *
Renovated hotel with rooms themed on the five great eras of Parisian life, some with balcony.
The hotel, a former post house under Louis XV and family house under Napoleon III has seen many travelers, it has even hosted Jim Morrison in 1970 ... It was rehabilitated in a very original way by Sybille de Margerie. She decorated the rooms around five major significant eras of Parisian life, from the Middle Ages to the present day, she revisited them in a more contemporary style: chainmail lamp for a castle mood, black lacquered armchair in Louis XV style ... This is an incredible mix of fabrics, shapes and colours to find the perfect balance between the old and the modern time. The furniture was made by Parisian cabinetmakers and bathrooms are made of small Italian mosaic. The 5th floor rooms all have small balconies opening onto Paris. There is a self-service bar where you write down what you have consumed, it is open from 6 pm to midnight.
