HÔTEL OBSERVATOIRE LUXEMBOURG * * *
This boutique hotel overlooks the Luxembourg Gardens and features rooms decorated with classic and elegant furniture.
This boutique hotel design is the second establishment of the Bonneau family which already has Hotel Six in the 6 th. Located at the top of Boul Boulevard, this is a pleasant step, just a few steps from the RER. Behind a black façade, there is a place that varies between old and modern, black and white. The faces of the two Fornasetti pots of the entrance seem to look at us like those of the cushions of the living room, rooms and wallpaper wallpaper. The rooms, not very large, are served by a lift or by a small, rather dark spiral staircase, illuminated by wall fabric of red color embroidered with gold that turns into gold ribbon at night. They are decorated with classic and elegant furniture at a time. The black bed heads are filled with curious mirrors that give them a very special dimension. As for the chairs of the chairs, they play on their form, which mimics the body of a cello, détouré, with a golden flame. The contemporary bathrooms are very sober but well equipped. Finally the view on the Luxembourg garden, on Boulevard Saint-Michel or on the park of the National Institute for Young Deaf People is one of the many assets of this hotel. You can dine at the hotel's brasserie, Le Luco.
