It is a unique bookstore in Paris, and with good reason: opened last January, it offers books for visually impaired readers. Here, the books, initially produced by two publishing houses, are calibrated for maximum reading comfort: the texts are airy, the typefaces are larger, and the pages do not reflect light. The place itself has been the object of all attention, and the luminosity, for example, is adapted. On the book side, a vast choice has been made to democratise, as far as possible, access to reading for people who have hitherto found it difficult to find books.
