PRÉSENCE AFRICAINE
The African Presence was born in 1947 in the form of a journal that gave a platform to black writers and thinkers around the world. Alioune Diop, its creator, an intellectual of Senegalese origin, continued his approach to the emancipation of black peoples by opening a publishing house two years later. The African Presence bookstore was established in the 1960s. It includes all the works published by the former as well as many other works on Africa, its history, and societal facts. There are also stories and contemporary novels. A very comprehensive space dedicated to travel guides has also been set up. A veritable hub of thought, meetings with the authors are regularly proposed. A beautiful address to enrich and explore all the horizons of this continent.
