LES RENDEZ-VOUS DU MUSÉUM
Gathered under the name "Les Rendez-vous du Muséum", several cycles of conferences, debates, meetings and other activities are organized throughout the year in several sites of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle. These meetings are linked to the institution's activities and current research news. For example, there is "Les Lundis du Muséum" every... Monday at 6 pm (debates on temporary exhibitions, meetings with a scientist on a book...). In parallel, public courses are held on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Museum's main amphitheatre, lectures given by scientists from the Museum. Debates ( "Bar des Sciences") are also organised several times a year at the Café des Belles plantes. Children are also entitled to their appointments, with "Pousse Pousse" once or twice a month, on weekends. These are animated films that immerse them, as well as their parents or grandparents, in the world of animals and nature. Finally, those who want to know more about the Museum's professions and the people who carry them out will attend the "Museum Professions" on the last Sunday of each month at 3 p.m. To discover the program, visit www.mnhn.fr.
