UNIVERSITÉ INTER-ÂGES DE PARIS-SORBONNE
Lecture series address different themes and disciplinary fields to cultivate and understand current issues. These cycles are open to all without any age or educational requirement, but do not award any diploma or certificate or prepare for any examination. The courses offered are made up of cycles of 10 conferences, one session per week. They take place from Monday to Friday, in the morning and afternoon, except during university holidays. They last 1 hour, followed by a possible 15 minutes of discussion with the teacher. There are 2 sessions per year: in the 1st semester (conferences from mid-October to the end of January), program available in July and in the 2nd semester (conferences from mid-February to the end of May), program available in December. During the year, approximately 70 cycles of weekly conferences in literature, humanities, civilizations, but also science are organized, on various themes such as geography, geopolitics, philosophy, literature, history, art history, musicology, civilization, linguistics, art, information sciences...
