After two years of work, the Heure Joyeuse library reopened in October 2018 in a completely renovated building. It offers a wide range of books and records for young people on loan, as well as a fund on reading, culture and literature for young people for parents and educators. This structure is almost unknown to the general public. Yet some 20,000 books, as well as records and videos, await young readers in this public library opened in 1924 thanks to American aid for reconstruction after the First World War. Researchers have access to a study collection consisting of original drawings, first editions dating back to the 18th century, theses and periodicals on children's literature. A real gold mine for everyone.
