Flamboyant Gothic and Renaissance church in Paris
Construction of the church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont, just behind the Panthéon, began in 1492 and was completed in 1622. Given this long time span, it's hardly surprising that the church displays features of both the flamboyant Gothic and Renaissance styles. Its monumental rood screen is unique in Paris. Also worth seeing are the stained glass windows and a fragment of the sarcophagus that contained the remains of Geneviève, patron saint of Paris.

Yet another cathedral you can visit for free. Do not miss this if you're planning a trip to see the Pantheon. Its only steps from it.

Decent church, at a stone throw away from the Pantheon. It is empty and the entry is free. Don't miss out the stained glass on some of the windows. Few of the chappels are exquisitely decorated.
