As someone who works with radioactivity, I was quite fascinated by the Curie Museum and it is truly a must visit place that celebrates the life and achievements of Marie and Pierre. It was interesting to read the history of the achievements and timelines for discovery

The ticket attendant was extremely rude. She answered loudly when I asked if I could leave the stroller on the first floor.

Pleasant small museum that tells a story.
The lab looks like my school lab from 1950s.

It is really very interesting and nice. But it is quite a modest place for such a great person

Charming, informative and well designed museum. It’s a treat to see Madame Curie’s laboratory, thoughtfully decontaminated for our safety.

This place is a wonderful little glimpse into the story of Marie Curie and her family's work with Radium, and the pioneering early days of cancer research and treatment.

This isn't the ultimate dissertation on the life and works of Marie Curie; you'll probably learn as many facts reading a few websites as they have in their displays here. However, you'll never get a first hand view of Marie Curie's office and lab that way, and some of the equipment they used (and even invented) for their research and experiments.

It's only open a few hours a day for a few days of the week, but this little gem is well worth a visit if you happen to be visiting Paris, or if you live there (I know how easy it is to take the gems on your own doorstep for granted!)
