Museum housing a set of six tapestries woven around 1500 and depicting the five senses.

In the 19th century, a wealthy art lover moved his collection of ancient art into the former residence of the abbots of Cluny. On his death, the State transformed the hotel into a museum, along with the nearby sculpture depository. Many years of renovation work were finally completed two years ago. Here, you'll discover the restored chapel and ancient baths, as well as such marvels as the Lady with the Unicorn, all in a well-thought-out museum tour.

Excellent museum of Middle Age art. Well curated, pleasingly displayed. Interesting building all by itself. The capstone exhibit is the tapestry of the Lady and the Unicorn. We really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended!

Bought a ticket for first thing in the morning. Some excellent examples of life and art starting from 1100 to 1600. Well presented and easy to move around, not as crowded as many of the other sites. Elevators and bathrooms on site. All of the displays are in both French and English. One of my favorite museums in Paris.

Superbe exposition sur une période peu connue de l'histoire de France
