CECCALDI
Jean-Pierre Ceccaldi, from the village of Zoza, in southern Corsica, initiated himself into the production of Corsican knives at Paul Santoni, one of the last craftsmen who masters this precious know-how, who had taught him his manufacturing secrets. Then, motivated by the passion for the Corsican knife which had rooted in him, he opened his first manufacturing workshop in the heart of the family home, supported by Dany, his wife. The production began with the traditional corsican knife, the famous "curnicciulu", then, it grew over the years to offering a full range of knives. Today, you can find the Ceccaldi knives in five shops: in Porticcio, Bonifacio, Corte, Sartène and Paris, where you will also find a repair and sharpening workshop to ensure an original but very serious commitment for those men who are not jokers: lifetime warranty! Shepherd knives, vendetta models, table or kitchen knives, all models are of the highest quality. The handles are made of buffalo horn, ebony wood or briar root. We especially like the very simple and practical shepherd knife, whose handle made of olive wood could smell the maquis!
