GALERIE DIURNE
Opened for years in the heart of the Latin Quarter, the Daytime Gallery presents the carpets of Marcel Zelmanovitch, painter. The pieces sold here are designed and built by hand according to ancestral know-how in a workshop in Kathmandu. A very original manufacturing process, images developed by computer show a faithful simulation of the carpet that the workshop tissera with the greatest care. All carpets are made custom based on the designs imagined by the masters of the sites. Contemporary or more classical, they can be quite rustic or otherwise very valuable with wool and silk blends. All the carpets presented are divided into four collections: Marcel Zelmanovitch's paintings, the contemporary collection of the stripped lines, the classic collection to the admirable games of geometric shapes and the "new collection", resolutely abstract.
